Nestled on the Saguramo-Ialno ridge, just 25 kilometers (about 15.5 miles) from Tbilisi, lies the Saguramo Reserve. Established in 1946, this protected natural wonderland spans over five thousand hectares (approximately 12,355 acres), making it an expansive sanctuary for nature enthusiasts.
The Saguramo Reserve is a verdant tapestry woven primarily from diverse forest species. Its thick, leafy expanse is adorned with beech, hornbeam, oak, elm, maple, and wild pear trees.
